Academy Award Nominee and winner of the Independent Spirit Award for her feature-length documentaries, Speaking in Strings and Soul in the Hole, Foster also produces and directs television, commercials, PSAs, integrated marketing campaigns and award-winning branded content. She produced and directed the documentary Operation Fine Girl about the plight of women in Sierra Leone for Oxygen; Appleʼs video installation and documentary companion to the book, A Day in the Life of Africa; the films Muhammad Ali, Joe DiMaggio, and Ronald Reagan, for A&Eʼs Biography series; a series of testimonials for the Acumen Fund; PSAs to launch 1Sky and the human rights website, The Hub; a PSA and short film campaign for WITNESS. Her PSA for the Coalition for an International Criminal Court and a permanent installation piece Refugees: the Last Resort for the Museum of Immigration won the Council on Foundations Film and Video Festival and IFilms: Best of the Net award, respectively.
